Can we watch Prime Video rentals and purchases together?
SyncCouch syncs whatever plays in the primevideo.com player. Each of you needs access to the title on your own account.
What about Prime Video regional catalog differences?
Prime Video's catalog varies by country — a film available in India may not be available in the US or UK, and vice versa. SyncCouch can only sync playback, not licensing. Check that both partners have the title available in their region before starting a room.
What happens when one of us goes to the next episode?
When one of you moves on to the next episode — with the Next Episode button, Up Next, or auto-advance — the other follows to the same episode.
Is SyncCouch free?
SyncCouch is free to use. Playback sync, text chat, voice chat, and emoji reactions are all free, and video chat is free and unlimited. AI recommendations are coming soon in the next update.
Does it work on Edge or Brave?
Yes. SyncCouch works on any Chromium-based browser including Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, and Vivaldi (version 116+). Firefox is not currently supported because SyncCouch uses Chrome extension APIs that Firefox implements differently — a Firefox build is on the roadmap.
